Smartphone controlled paper plane
What if I say you that you can control your paper plane with your smartphone that sounds crazy right! All of the users have made or gone through the art of folding papers( Origami ) but it can fly up to few second or mints. Again your flight duration depends on the fabrication size and shape of your paper plane and a little knowledge of aerodynamics and shallow knowledge of aerodynamic forces acting on your model.

Project Description:

First step is to make a paper plane using origami paper basic size is A4. make your own design ( larger wingspan, lightweight paper and aerodynamic. Practice for several times until you get the perfect shape and aerodynamic folding. You require a remote control as a smartphone to manipulate the rpm of micro motors. Need a battery as a power source to run your micro propeller. Motors and battery connected with the transmitter which receives a signal from the gyro sensors from your smartphone which you change your phone access in X, Y or Z direction.

Components used to make it.

  1. Origami paper(A4)
  2. Smartphone
  3. Bluetooth Module
  4. Micro prop
  5. Micromotor
  6. Battery charger
  7. One rudder( control Surface )
  8. Rechargeable battery

Final step:

Make sure that your model should be having good stability while flying. Due to the advantage of lightweight, it is crash proof. After assembling all the steps mentioned above your paper plane is ready to fly by just having some flying techniques and good weather conditions. BEST OF LUCK
