As water demands pressures raise increasing an attempt to develop a general water supply system assist design to more reliable systems for a long period of operation. Here the water distribution is accessed by the RFID Tag.

Skyfi Labs Projects
The RFID Reader and Tag are important it has the data of certain personal details. When the Tag is received by the RFID reader it gets the data of the Tag shows on the screen the how much of liters of water to be distributed.

Project Description:

  1. Arduino: The digital and analog input/output pins equipped in this board can be interfaced to various expansion boards and other circuits.The Serial communication interface is a feature in this board, including USB which will be used to load the programs from computer.
  2. RFID: Radio-frequency identification (RFID) uses electromagnetic fields to automatically identify and track tags to place nearby. The tags contain electronically-stored information.
  3. Motor Driver: Generally the Arduino board is not capable of providing the required amount of current to runs the DC Water Pump. So we use a device called Motor Driver which will provide sufficient current for driving the pumps

Project Implementation:

  1. Interface RFID Reader, L293D Driver, DC Pump with Arduino
  2. Power the components and upload the code to Arduino Uno Board
  3. Scan the RFID and it displays the personal details, the number of litres of water to pump.
  4. Once the water is reached the litres completely the pump will go off.
Project Brief: The RFID tag is placed near to the reader it receives the data of the card, the controller identifies the information according to the data the DC pump turned ON and starts to Pump the water. The Total liters of water is measured by using the flow sensor and reached the level the DC Pump will go OFF.

Software requirements:

  1. Arduino IDE: You will be needing Arduino IDE software to write and upload the programming logic onto the Arduino Uno board
  2. Programming language: C++ language
