The advancement has bought many applications and advantages, but it also has some disadvantages which lead to cause bad effects on people’s life

Due to the upgrading lifestyle, people are so engaged that they are unable to take their care and are suffering more problems

To avoid such problems medicine dispenser was introduced which would help people to remind to take their tablets and remember them various reminders which would help them to improve their health

The medicine dispenser is in the form of a band and contains a vibrator, which vibrates and reminds him to take his tablets

Various components required

• IR sensor

• Node MCU

Implementations

• The operations of embedded systems can be done by a microcomputer which is called as a microcontroller
• The various components involved in a microcontroller are the processor, the memory unit and the peripherals
• It is an example of ardublock where the application of drag and drop is possible
• The above program is of NRF (Nordic radio frequency) receiver and has an application to write programs easily and also debug them

Supporting technologies

• NFC and RFID: these are the receivers which are used to find and track the tags which are related to the object
• Low- Energy Bluetooth: this is a low-power supporting technology, by providing the need for long-use of IoT function
• Low- Energy Wireless: this part helps in saving the power of the IoT system. It also extends the life of the device through less use
• Radio-Protocols: this is to increase the power of device with a small network without the use of typical costs
• Wi-Fi-direct: this is to eliminate the need for an access point. The main advantage of this is that it provides peer to peer connection at the speed of Wi-Fi

Power-management

• It means to power the gear
• The suggested gear which is used here is lithium –ion battery
• The battery provided here is of 5V

Advantages

• It can be very useful for old people
• It can be useful for those who are deaf or blind

Disadvantages

• The major disadvantage is that the program failure may lead to take the wrong medicine and may affect the health of the user

Conclusion

From the above project, it can be concluded that the use of medicine dispenser should be promoted and more techniques should be developed to improve its performance.
