Colour Segmentation using MATLAB

This MATLAB project deals with adding colour for the images. The quality of division outcomes has a big effect on the next steps of the image giving out. To get an accurate image of living things and non-living things. By using cameras we can take the pictures, after getting the pictures if pictures are blurred, using the MATLAB we can make it clear.

Introduction

In colour image processing and its applications, the importance is attached to the method used for image separation. The image after separation contains many small regions corresponding to the same object in the original image, then we can separate all the regions of the image, then we can describe the image of parts very clearly and systematically.

In this colour separation method, there are two methods that are

  1. Gathering in the colour space
  2. Region growing for colour image

SLLATEST
Gathering is the process of dividing a set of objects into subsets of similar objects called groups. This is in three-dimensional colour space on the basis of their colour. Many different group methods are proposed in the pattern recognition works can be applied to a colour image separation.

The region-based method is divided into the same regions. In this method we can find the region, splitting, combining and others also. In this method, we can search very deeply and we get a very clear result. For these, we have some calculations to get the code. We can split every part and we can combine each and every corner of the image.

In letters format, these colour separation does the catching the word in that word it separates the background next its split the letters and bring back to the original word. Easily we can say that in simple words it will convert into three dimensional to one dimensional.

Advantages

  1. Common colour used in wide regions.
  2. Base of the luminance chrominance color model
  3. Efficient in calculating small color difference, device self-determining space
  4. Easy to implement
  5. Lesser cost
Conclusion

In these projects we have colour separation of image, splitting the regions, combining the regions, removing the shadows, and high light of the images. It will convert natural images into three-dimensional images. By this project, we can easily convert every part and we can get accurate images of the living things and nonliving things by using MATLAB software.
