Battery-Free-Flashlight
Do you think by using battery constrain you to run the technology anywhere in the world or in a solar system. Our drawback is battery we need some platform or power source for storage of power in the form of chemical energy. What if you are making your project without battery sounds crazy right! You don't need to store energy anywhere or neither you need to convert into another form. What happens when you use the battery you are converting in the chemical energy to store in battery and then again to are converting into electrical energy in that process you are losing some amount of energy in form of power. Usually batteries are made of terrible chemicals among very few are being recycled and finally, in the end, we have to dispose of them in the earth which might be very dangerous for humans in future

This project what you are going to is made by a 16-year-old girl from Canada and she was a winner in Google Science Fair 2016. Humans are the great source to get energy in the form of heat. You are going to generate flashlight that runs on the heat of human hand alone. Our pam radiates more than half milliwatt per cm square of heat to glow a bright light from an LED. You need one Peltier tiles as a heat flow source. these devices are called a thermoelectric devices means if you will give heat at one end due to the temperature difference emf will be induced and electricity is generated.

Project Description:

  1. 2 plastic pipe: In this project the purpose of using plastic pipes is to cooldown the peltier tiles upto some temperature by using ambient air around us.
  2. 4 Peltier Tiles: It's a small thermoelectric generator (TEG), also called a Seebeck generator, is a solid state device that converts heat flux (temperature differences) directly into electrical energy through a phenomenon called the Seebeck effect (a form of thermoelectric effect).
  3. voltage regulator: A voltage regulator is an electronic circuit that provides a stable DC voltage independent of the load current, temperature and AC line voltage variations. The voltage regulator may use a simple feedforward design or may include negative feedback. It may use an electromechanical mechanism or electronic components.
  4. bolt/nut : = A nut is a type of fastener with a threaded hole. Nuts are almost always used in conjunction with a mating bolt to fasten multiple parts together. The two partners are kept together by a combination of their threads' friction (with slight elastic deformation), a slight stretching of the bolt, and compression of the parts to be held together.
  5. Ambient air : = Ambient air is typically 78% nitrogen and 21% oxygen. The extra 1% is made up of a combination of carbon, helium, methane, argon, and hydrogen. The closer the air is to sea level, the higher the percentage of oxygen. Man's activities, particularly the manufacturing processes and the burning of fossil fuels, has directly impacted the ambient air quality due to the high level of industrial and chemical pollutants that have been released into the atmosphere.

Application

  • Tracking/ Advanture
  • TO fullfil basic needs
  • long trip or forest walk
  • can use where there is no power source
  • Congratulation

  • You have successfully generated flashlight with the heat of human hand without using Battery.you can access free energy just by using your own hand.
