Automatic Braking Systems for Automobiles

Project Description:

1. Arduino/Genuino Uno: The digital and analog input/output pins equipped in this board can be interfaced to various expansion boards and other circuits. Serial communication interface is a feature in this board, including USB which will be used to load the programs from computer.
2. IR Sensors: The component we use to find whether there is any obstacle in the path in which our trolley is going are IR sensors (Infrared).

Project Implementation:

1. Initially, Interface IR sensors to the Arduino board.
2. Interface Arduino with braking system
3. Now Power the system and Upload the code.
4. As soon as the IR sensor detect the vehicle closer than prescribed distance, immediately brakes will be applied.

Software requirements:

1. Arduino IDE : You will be needing Arduino IDE software to write and upload the programming logic onto the Arduino Uno board
