This concept is mainly used for four wheeler vehicles, setup makes the vehicle to turn parallel in a significant angle with reference to the front axle within a short period. This model enables the driver to park the vehicle between two vehicles, where the spaces is limited

Project Description:

  1. Solenoid: A solenoid valve is an electromechanically operated valve. The valve is controlled by an electric current through a solenoid: in the case of a two-port valve the flow is switched on or off; in the case of a three-port valve, the outflow is switched between the two outlet ports
  2. Servo Motor: A servo motor is a rotary actuator or linear actuator that allows for precise control of angular or linear position, and rotates in 180 degree.
  3. Pneumatic Cylinder: Pneumatic cylinder are mechanical devices that use compressed air acting on a piston inside a cylinder to move a load along a linear path. Unlike their hydraulic alternatives, the operating fluid in a pneumatic actuator is simply surrounding area.
  4. Relay:A relay is an electrically operated switch. It can handles the high power required to directly control an electric motor or other load is called relay or contactor.

Project Implementation:

  1. Interface the sensor and the motor to the microcontroller
  2. Place the rain sensor on the top near the windshield
  3. You need to write the program and upload to microcontroller
Project Brief: The pneumatic cylinder is pressed the wheels comes down, the backwheels on air, the single wheels is used move the car adjust in direction while parking

Software requirements:

  1. Keil Uvision 3: Keil Software makes C compilers, macro assemblers, real-time kernels, debuggers, simulators, integrated environments and evaluation boards for the 8051, 251, ARM and XC16x/C16x/ST10 microcontroller families
  2. Programming language: Embedded C Language
