Application of Drones are expanding from commercial, scientific, recreational, agricultural, and other applications.IT can be used in Landways, waterways, airways or in space.

It's also very important to be hydrated in this adventurous life. But what if clean water is not available any solution? In this project you are going to make an innovative model with battery pack having USB connection and which also purifies water.

Micro flying robots that fly like airplanes and helicopters consume much more energy than micro robots that fly like advanced insects such as flies.A new study now shows that a fly wing that spins like a helicopter blade generates the same amount of lift as a flapping fly wing while consuming only half the energy to move the wing. This finding can inspire the design of efficient micro flying robots with spinning fly-like wings.

About the project

We all have come across the carbon paper used in billing and other materials. Ever wonder if the same carbon paper has strength equivalent to steel but size equal to human hair? Bucky paper supports this fact when manufactured with Nanotechnology.

Activated carbon has been there with us for centuries. It has wide applications in various industries e.g. in the water-treatment, dye, sugar refining, among others. All the activated carbon available in Kenya is imported. Therefore, production of activated carbons locally and from locally available materials would be one of the most lucrative and environment-friendly solutions to this as it would transform negative–valued wastes to valuable materials. Thus, the main objective of this project is to prepare activated carbons from coconut shells using a two-step method and to establish the optimum conditions of production.

Today the biggest problem we are facing in the electronics industry is the size of the battery as gadgets get thinner and smaller day by day.

The buildings have a huge impact on the environment both directly and indirectly. It’s not only the materials used to construct a building that affects the environment. Net-zero energy buildings are the best solution for both these major problems.

The growth in the use and application of composite in the worldwide industry is very high nowadays. The replacing cost of the material is high in case of any damage that occurs on the composite. Hence the repair of a composite is done to reduce the maintenance cost. The Composite material is made up of two or more materials having different physical properties.
