Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) have made vivid impact in many areas importantly Aerial Photography, Search and Rescue, Traffic control, Environmental and Wild life Monitoring, Surveillance and Reconnaissance, Precision Agriculture, Air Sampling, Firefighting, Power line inspection, Postal delivery and many more applications. The unmanned systems industry is presently having tremendous growth. As a result there is an increased demand for unmanned vehicle systems designers. Our 2 year Master of Technology Programme on Unmanned Aerial Vehicle is created in such a way that the graduate engineers will gain sufficient knowledge and skills to develop their own Unmanned systems for typical applications and need.
Developing engineers with a strong interdisciplinary background in current and evolving engineering practices for unmanned and autonomous systems.
To enhance the knowledge in theoretical and practical aspects of development of Unmanned Vehicle.
To gain knowledge in the analysis, design and development of the variety of unmanned systems platforms and also related systems and components
The students will carry out their 3rd and 4th semester project work at reputed National / International research Laboratories / Universities
All UG Engineering Degree Holders in AERO/ECE/MECH/EEE/EIE
2 Years
Tution Fees: Rs. 50,000 Per Semester
VelTech has the status of ‘Scientific Industrial Research Organization (SIRO)’ under aegis of Department of Scientific Industrial Research (DSIR) - Govt. of India.
Graduates will enter the unmanned career field in the areas of R&D, vehicle design, sensor development, vehicle communications and data links, sense and avoid systems, human machine interfaces, autonomous control, vehicle navigation, guidance and control.
Graduates of the program are expected to enter industry ready to contribute to the development of new systems and advance the state-of-the-art in unmanned and autonomous systems.
